Friday 23rd September 2022 was graduation Day at the University of Nairobi. The 67th graduation ceremony saw 3553 graduands conferred with degrees and diplomas of which 85 PhDs, 595 Masters degrees, 2508 Bachelors degrees, 62 Post Graduate Diplomas, and 302 Diplomas, and 1 Doctor of Science (Honoris Causa) The event was held at the Historic Taifa Hall. Faculty of Engineering Dean, Prof. Ayub Gitau formally welcomed the first-year students Wednesday, September 21st, 2022 at the E001 Hall. The freshmen were admitted to the Faculty on Monday 19th September for the academic year 2021/22.
The University of Nairobi will admit the First Year students for the 2022/2023 Academic Year on Monday 19th September 2022. The University has lined up a series of activities for the Orientation week to introduce the freshmen to University life and the rich culture of the University of Nairobi.

Tuesday 20th September 2022: Students commence Course Registration for two weeks
