The University Library Services department has embarked on three day Open Week beginning 14th to 16th April 2021.
The event is themed “Open Access & Academic Integrity for a Knowledgeable Society.”
On Friday 12th March, the university organised its first ever talent show. The event which contained several categories was a culmination of three days of rigorous auditions. In the ‘Innovations’ category, Joseph Suhudu, a 4th year student of Electrical Engineering was the best with his improvement of the Student Management Information System. A first year student from the department of Urban and Regional planning has decided to take on the menace that is public transport in the country. Abundant Karanja has come up with an innovation that uses infrared to detect excess passengers in a motor vehicle. We had a one on one with him and this is what he had to say about the brilliant innovation.
