Varsity launches historic UoN Foundation

The University of Nairobi (UoN) officially launched the University of Nairobi Foundation on Thursday, 30th June 2022 at the symbolic Great Court, Main Campus. The establishment of the UoN Foundation is part of the reform agenda the University is implementing aimed at transforming the University into a Vibrant, relevant and sustainable University. Speakers at the event included; the Foundation’s Chairperson who is also the UoN Chancellor, Dr. Vijoo Rattansi, the Vice Chancellor, Prof.

Experiential training: Arava International Centre for Agricultural Training (AICAT)

In August 2022, 50 UoN students drawn from the Faculty of Agriculture, Veterinary Medicine and Biosystems Engineering will go to Israel for the 11-month experiential learning run by the Arava International Centre for Agricultural Training (AICAT).

Since 2017, The University of Nairobi has been priviledged to send over 90 students to Israel to learn by doing innovative and latest agricultural practices. Read more
