The University of Nairobi (UoN) and the Technical University in Delft (TU Delft), Netherlands, have entered into a groundbreaking collaboration in the field of Biomedical Engineering. This strategic partnership aims to develop and implement a Master of Science program in Biomedical Engineering, designed to enhance the capabilities of both institutions and address the current market gaps for locally manufactured medical devices and equipment.

The Department of Civil and Construction Engineering- Faculty of Engineering, in collaboration with the Centre for Advanced Engineering Studies (CAES), hosted a two-day conference from June 27th to 28th, 2024. The hybrid event,held at the UoN Towers, drew over 400 participants, including researchers, industry leaders, student engineers, and government officials.
