(CAE Principal Prof. Peter Ngau receives the trophy for the best college)

The College of Architecture bagged the best college award in the just concluded University of Nairobi award. In his opening speech, the university VC Prof. Peter Mbithi congratulated the awardees and urged them to work harder if they want to stick to the top. He also said that the awards would be held annually and will act as a motivation to the members of staff to work harder.  

The 2018 Dr. Patrick Musimba Award was held on March 13th 2018 at the Sarova Panafric Hotel.

Barclays Bank of Kenya launched the Ready to Work programme at the University of Nairobi on 30th October, 2015. The programme is a free online platform that offers a curriculum for certificate courses that will impart skills required in the job market, key among them; People, Work, Entrepreneurial and Money skills. The programme targets students in institutions of higher learning preparing them to join the job market. It attracted over 200 students from the various colleges of the university.
