The 2018 Dr. Patrick Musimba Award was held on March 13th 2018 at the Sarova Panafric Hotel.

Barclays Bank of Kenya launched the Ready to Work programme at the University of Nairobi on 30th October, 2015. The programme is a free online platform that offers a curriculum for certificate courses that will impart skills required in the job market, key among them; People, Work, Entrepreneurial and Money skills. The programme targets students in institutions of higher learning preparing them to join the job market. It attracted over 200 students from the various colleges of the university.

The college of Architecture and Engineering conducted a supplier sensitization workshop at E001.

The workshop brought together various suppliers that the college works with. In his opening speech, the college Principal Prof. Peter N Ngau emphasized on the need for the suppliers to supply quality items in line with the university standards. He also spoke about the expectations the college. This workshop serves as one of the many ways the college is maintaining standards in line with CUE specifications.
