Samuel O. Akatch

My responsibilities fall within the Building Science section which section is geared towards improving housing research foundations and community services in both rural and urban areas particularly for the low-income majority primarily through practical research and development. As an Associate Professor in the Department my responsibility is therefore to initiate and sustain such research and also to avail myself for teaching and supervisory duties in the Department, Faculty and indeed the University at large. I am presently updating Research Data in the former HABRI for purposes of publication and updated publication and dissemination. I am also responsible for the teaching and supervision of several undergraduate and postgraduate students (both Masters and PhDs).
