The Faculty of Engineering is proud to announce its participation in the upcoming Nairobi Innovation Week, from May 8th to 10th, 2024. This year's edition focuses on the crucial theme: “Strengthening the Innovation Ecosystem through Government-Industry-Academia linkages for Sustainable Development.”
The Faculty of Engineering will host a dedicated session on May 8th, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at Taifa Hall, Main Campus. This session, themed "Faculty of Engineering Innovations for Sustainable Community Development through strong multi-sectoral partnerships," will showcase the faculty's commitment to tackling real-world challenges through cutting-edge engineering solutions.
The session will feature insightful keynote addresses from Mr. Joseph Murabula, The CEO of Kenya Climate Innovation Centre, and Eng. Howard Mmayi from the Kenya National Highways Authority (KENHA). Moderated by Dr. Peter Akuon or Dr. Damaris Oyaro, a stimulating panel discussion will follow, focusing on the critical topic of "Engineering for Food Security and Water Management."
