We are happy to announce The 5th International Engineering Conference 2023 hosted by the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Nairobi (UoN) under the theme:  Harnessing Research in Engineering for Resilience and Sustainability.

Conference Purpose: The Engineering Conference 2023 provides an international forum for reporting progress and recent developments in research activities in the universities and industries.

EC2023 aims to achieve the following:

1. Propel research output towards promoting community resilience in various sectors of the economy.

2. Bring together researchers, innovators, industry, entrepreneurs, and students both local and international in the fields of Engineering to share knowledge and experiences on topics that are timely and reflect the latest scientific advances in the areas covering the following sub-themes:

1. Harnessing Engineering Research for sustainability in Biological Production Systems including: Agricultural food processing and structures, value addition, Irrigation, water resources and environmental management and control, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Energy systems.

2. Harnessing Research in Geospatial Engineering and Space Technology including Cadastral Systems and Land Management, Land Cover and Land Use Change, Agriculture and Food Security, Blue Economy and Biodiversity Conservation, Innovations, and Data.

3. Harnessing Research in Civil Engineering.
