Congratulations to the graduating class of December 2021.

The University of Nairobi hosted the 66th graduation ceremony on Friday 17th December 2021. During the event, about 6,467 graduands were honored with various Degrees and Diplomas. Click to watch the Graduation ceremony

The Faculty of Engineering produced 163 graduands: Graduation Lists

Bachelor Degree Awards: 152

Master Degree Awards: 8

Doctor of Philosophy Degree Awards: 3.

Overall the Faculty has produced about 677 graduands in 2021; 514 candidates graduated in the September 2021 graduation ceremony.

The Dean, Faculty of Engineering; Prof. Ayub Gitau congratulated the graduate engineers and urged them to work closely with professional engineers who will mentor them as they join the various engineering disciplines, stating “Hongera to our engineering graduands, I wish you well as you join the industry, remember you will be representing the University of Nairobi and the Faculty of Engineering.”

The Chancellor, Dr. Vijoo Rattansi in her address to graduands urged them to remain hopeful “ I beseech our graduands of the day not to lose hope. It is the one thing that can help you get through the darkest of times...Graduands, I wish you well, I believe in you” The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Stephen Kiama also sent his congratulatory message to the graduands urging them “to remain connected to the University of Nairobi and continue to espouse the values of the university wherever you go” The theme for this year’s celebration was upholding academic excellence and resilience through technology amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
